Charleston Recreation Association is the name of our Pool and Park Association.  The neighborhood was developed starting in 1964 with a pool and park located on 804 Charleston Ave.  The pool and park are private property but is open to all paying members.  The park is now called Lamkin park, named after Bill and Molly Lamkin who dedicated 40 + years to serving on the Association.  The park is currently under renovation as of spring of 2017.
